“Creating Beautiful Concrete Surfaces™” |
![]() About UsPrecision Concrete & Polishing Inc. creates beautiful interior and exterior concrete surfaces, large and small. Our four partners have over 50 years of combined experience in the concrete construction industry. We’re based near the Vail Valley of Colorado but we also travel to the Roaring Fork Valley, Summit County, Glenwood Springs and Steamboat Springs to perform work. And, when it comes to a polished concrete flooring solution, we’re equipped to travel across the entire state. Our concrete specialties:
Polished ConcretePolished concrete is a beautiful, low-maintenance way to finish interior concrete floors; and it’s a “GREEN” solution. Polished concrete flooring is quickly becoming the ultimate no-wax flooring solution for retailers, restaurants, warehouses, factories, schools and other government agencies. Factor in the superior durability and performance of concrete, and it's no wonder why more government, commercial and residential customers are opting for polished concrete surfaces as an alternative to marble, granite, tile, linoleum, VCT or epoxy coated concrete. Our company can provide customers with an “HTC-Superfloor” polished finish, which is not only beautiful, it’s long lasting and it’s high-gloss shine (only if specified by the customer) never needs waxing. Even homeowners are catching on to the appeal of these smooth, high-luster floors in their garages, finished-basements, home-offices and anywhere else a clean, “GREEN” flooring solution is desired. And, polished concrete qualifies for “LEED” credits (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). Also, there are many different colors to chose from, if desired, and even company logos can be incorporated into the concrete’s surface. Stamped, Decorative and colored concrete for Patios, Driveways, Pool Decks and SidewalksDecorative concrete, commonly referred to as stamped concrete, patterned concrete or imprinted that is designed to resemble brick, flagstone, slate, stone, tile and even wood. Due to the wide variety of options when it comes to the pattern and the color, more and more customers today are choosing a decorative concrete surface to enhance the exterior beauty of their home and/or business. Coloring and Acid StainingStaining concrete is one of the most popular applications for transforming concrete slabs. Often referred to as colored concrete, homeowners, designers, architects and builders are drawn to stained concrete due to the unique outcome that can be achieved by combining colors, application techniques, etc., on concrete flooring. Also, acid staining is what’s known as a “reactive” process where the stain reacts with the lime contained within the concrete. This reactive process creates a unique look (i.e. translucent color tones), where a coloring process creates a more uniform look. Concrete OverlaysOur company re-surfaces existing concrete slabs by utilizing Elite Crete Systems resurfacing products. If you want to turn a plain Jane slab from drab-to-fab or if you want to permanently cover up surface imperfections on an existing concrete slab, then a decorative overlay is the way to go. It's easy to give almost any concrete surface, indoors or out, a complete face-lift and at a lower cost than a typical removal and complete replacement process. Also, overlays can be stamped / patterned just like newly poured, decorative concrete, and with the many color choices available, it will certainly enhance the aesthetic beauty of any home and/or business. Epoxy CoatingsEpoxy coatings can be decorative too, but are normally performed done to improve existing concrete surfaces. However, there are many different possibilities of what can be achieved with an epoxy coating. MaintenanceOur company “re-seals” exterior concrete patios, driveways, pool decks and sidewalks (especially decorative, colored concrete surfaces and brick pavers too). We refer to this type of maintenance as a form of concrete restoration. Although not commonly known by most residential and commercial customers, re-sealing exterior concrete surfaces on a regular basis is a must for longevity and aesthetic beauty (especially on decorative, colored concrete surfaces). Re-sealing prevents the fading of colored concrete and just like painting your home; it protects the top surface from delaminating and from harmful UV rays. Also, re-sealing protects the concrete surface against Mag-Chloride, household chemicals and oil-leak damage. Cleaning and re-sealing of all concrete surfaces should be done on a regular basis. The frequency will depend on the amount of, traffic from cars, foot-ware, water exposure, UV rays and any chemicals the concrete surface may be exposed to. Just like waxing a car or painting the exterior of your home, re-sealing your decorative, colored concrete surfaces will make the original color as vibrant as the day it was installed. FlatworkOur company can pour new exterior and interior concrete slabs, large and small. Knowing the correct concrete mix, ground/surface preparation, properly reinforcing the concrete, spacing and placement of control joints and finishing techniques are all critical elements to ensuring a strong, long-lasting concrete slab. This consistent, technical approach is something we pride ourselves in. Uneven concrete and surface preparationOur company is equipped to “level” uneven joints, cracks and/or high spots from almost any concrete surface, eliminating hazardous cracks (i.e. tripping hazards) from sidewalks, driveways, pool decks, patios, etc. Eliminate hazardous “tripping” liabilities from your Sidewalks, Driveways, Pool Decks and/or Patios with our concrete grinding process. Our powerful grinding machines can grind-down uneven concrete surfaces, without having to replace the existing concrete. And, the majority of the concrete dust is collected by our vacuum systems. Also, our surface preparation / concrete repair division can also help contractors and homeowners alike grind, level and prepare any existing concrete surface for VCT, Tile, Terrazzo and Granite or any re-surfacing application that requires a flat, level surface. |
